Google Merchant Center
Suspended for Misrepresentation? See what Google’s reviewers see.
Paste your Shopify store URL. We run the checks reviewers actually apply: contact and business identity, return and shipping policies, out-of-stock and price parity (the 2026 rule), misleading claims, hidden fees. Every finding comes with evidence and the Shopify setting to change.
Free, no signup. We fetch a handful of public pages once and store no personal data. Diagnostic only; Google decides approvals.
Done-for-you fix: $99, delivered within 48 hours
We run the full 26-point audit on your store, rewrite your return, shipping and contact policies so they pass, rewrite the product copy that gets flagged, and draft the re-review request. You paste, we do not touch your store. One-time payment, EU VAT handled at checkout.
The 26 checks
Drawn from Google’s Misrepresentation policy, its “missing contact information” and business-identity requirements, and the causes that show up again and again in suspension threads.
Identity & contact
- Visible email, phone, form or address before checkout
- Business name consistent across store, footer, policies and Merchant Center
- Physical address shown and matching
- Storefront not password-protected or bot-blocked
Policies
- Return & refund policy: window, condition, who pays shipping, refund timing
- Shipping policy: costs, delivery times, regions
- Privacy and terms present and linked
- No template placeholders or another company’s name
Price & availability (2026 rule)
- Sold-out items show “Sold out” or a disabled button, and JSON-LD agrees
- Prices match between admin, product page and structured data
- Compare-at “was” prices are plausible, no permanent storewide sale
- Currency shown matches your feed
Claims & trust
- No health claims, “#1”, guaranteed results or fake certifications
- Delivery promises match the shipping policy
- No hidden protection fees, fake urgency timers or unlicensed trust badges
- No broken links or demo content
Fix it inside Shopify
Reads the truth, not the crawl
Policies, variants, inventory and prices come from your Shopify admin, so the app never claims a policy is missing when it exists.
Parity checks the clones skip
Per-variant out-of-stock state and price are compared across admin, product page and structured data.
Fix, then appeal
Pro writes complete policies and compliant product copy for your approval, drafts the re-review request and re-audits weekly.

Questions
- What does “Misrepresentation” mean in Google Merchant Center?
- Google suspends accounts when it cannot verify who runs the store or when the store omits or misstates relevant information: contact details, return and shipping terms, prices, availability, or claims about products. The notice rarely says which one.
- Does this checker guarantee reinstatement?
- No. It is a diagnostic. It shows the issues reviewers commonly flag, with evidence and the exact Shopify setting to change. Google alone decides re-reviews, which take 3–7 business days.
- What changed in 2026?
- Since March 2026, out-of-stock product pages must show a disabled buy button or clear “Sold out” text, and availability must match between page, feed and structured data. An active “Add to cart” on a sold-out item now counts as misrepresentation.
- What does the Shopify app add over this page?
- The app reads your policies, all variants, inventory and prices from the Shopify admin, so it never claims a policy is missing when it exists and it catches parity mismatches this page cannot see. Pro adds AI-written policies, claim rewrites, an appeal-letter draft and weekly monitoring.
- What do I get for the $99 done-for-you fix?
- Within 48 hours you receive by email: the full 26-point audit with evidence, rewritten return, shipping and contact policies ready to paste into Shopify, compliant rewrites of the product copy that gets flagged, and a factual re-review letter. It is a diagnostic and drafting service; we never log into your store and Google alone decides approvals.
- Is my data stored?
- The public check fetches a handful of public pages once and keeps only the score and findings, with a hashed IP for rate limiting. No personal data.
